Something happened on the day of your birth
A little bit of sun light slipped to earth
And scattered it's rays on the days we'd know
With a gentle glow
And after 18 years
In pleasure and strife
Your light and your smile have graced our lives
And so on your birthday we celebrate too
For so much of our joy was born with you!
April died 11/21/99. She was in an anoxic coma for 10 months following an auto accident and near drowning. G-Tube, J-Peg,& Trach. April was 17 at the time of the accident. She died when she was 18.
