Trisha was to be a 1998 Christmas baby. She was almost a Halloween child. She was born October 26, 1998. She weighed in at 2 lbs 13 ounces. Shortly after the emergency c-section the doctor came in to tell my daughter, Trisha would be moved to a
children's hospital, miles away. Trisha has a tracheoesophageal fistula.
Trisha came home after 5 months. Trached, and fed by g-tube.
Trisha had a full cardiac and respiratory arrest at 7 months. This is a story I wrote, only one day after the code.
