Hi
I've not posted in probably over a year but I just wanted to update ya'll on my neice Halle. Halle was born at 25 weeks gestation. She received her trach when she was about 6 mo. Halle stayed at UNC hospital for 362 days before coming home on May 26, 2005. Since coming home Halle has thrived, has not had to hospitalized with the exception of being decannulated in May 2006! Halle is featured in UNC trach talks current issue. I'm not computer literate but if anyone is interested in reading about Halle you can e-mail me at
spscott@rtmc.net and I will forward you the attachment for the newsletter. (It's in pdf form and I can't figure out how to post it).

Thanks so much for all the suggestions and advice you gave us when Halle was very very sick.

Sharon
