Okay so all 8 of us have had colds and Brad has pneumonia but Matty is healthy as a horse LOL!! what is up with that?? I am very careful and he has been getting extra chest pt just to keep things loose in there but really if we are all sick ( now on the road to recovery) how did he manage to stay healthy? Just one more point for removing this darn thing in a few months and NOT waiting until spring!
BTW we went to the ped the other day for aroutine checkup and she said his lungs sounded normal, not just normal for him but TOTALLY normal just like my two year old, she was STUNNED! She is a new Ped/Pulmo that our ped office cjust hired ( she is an older woman and did her training at CHOP) I really like her and she seems to know her stuff, she has agreed to go to bat for us and if Matts bronch is clean then she said she will speak to Dr Zur about getting his trach out sooner rather than waiting until spring!! wish us luck!

Glad Matty is doing well. I have no idea how he has managed to avoid the cold. Sounds like a pretty healthy little guy to me
