Thumbs up

Hello. Â*Sorry I don't post that often anymore. Â*I am still on here everyday and reading the post. Â*I am trying to get back into the swing of things and will be hopefully able to post more.

OK...You all know Raegan was decanned the end of April. Â*We just went back for our 3 month check and they said her airway looks great and they don't have to see us for 6 MONTHS!!!! Â*Her gentilia was scoped as well and they are wanting to close her vescostomy in the next few months and they think that we will have to cath her 4xday for a while then tapper off to where hopefully Â* she will be able to pee on her own!! Â*So it was a good visit to Cincinnati.

When the trach came out she was very soft spoken and did not really understand how to use her voice. Â*She could never use the PMV so it was a whole new world for her. Â*

Fast forward to now.....we call her Chatty Cathy. Â*OMG she is a talker. Â*Obvisouly she is in speech but just to hear her say words is amazing. Â*She is a pretty average 3 year old. Â*She is 2 inches shy of 3 feet tall and she is weighing 25 pounds now.

I also got some help I needed. Â*I finally found a doctor who would listen to me about my problems. Â*I have been diganoised with severe insomnia and depression. Â*Started taking meds a few months ago and am now feeling better. Â*That is part of the reason I have not been on here that much. Â*I was to busy laying in bed all day! Â*Sad I know Â* Â* but now I feel like a new person!! for drugs!! Â*

Anyway for anyone who wondered where we were you got your answers. Â*It also took me a while to post all this because I was not wanting people to not remember us and then I would feel like a Â*

Hope all is well with you all.

Jen[b]

ps. my topic post was supposed to say long over due!!! Duh

I am glad everything is going so well for Raegan. It is wonderful that you are feeling great too. I have had my share of depression and it can really bring you down. Keep taking care of yourself Jen!!

Jen

Sorry i haven't called in awhile. I"ve been a tad busy with school starting. But I think we all know how that goes.

Good to hear you all are doing good.

I"m still waiting on the approval for the dentist. I talked with them last week and they're goinna call Medicaid and see what the hold up is. So hopefully in a couple weeks we'll be done. Keep your fingers crossed.

I"ll try and call this week.
My girls go back to school on Tuesday. Yipee!!!!
