Hi Everyone, Just wanted to vent a little. Jan. 15, was my son's first birthday! Â*I got chills just thinking about it. We had a good day. But, the night before his trach came out. I thought we where going to lose him. Thank god he didn't! He's my little angel. Â*Sharon (billy's Mom)

Sharon-
I'm so sorry that this happened to you... how scared you must have been. Jacob has never lost his trach except for during trach care, and it's easy to slip back in. But I'll never forget the first time it came out. After we got it back in, I cried for two hours! (And I'm a nurse&#33 Happy Birthday to Billy! My Jacob turns two tomarrow. I'm sorry, but I don't really know you. How long has your baby been on a vent and for what reason? What kind of vent?
