I am not sure how many others have to give as many medications as I do so I thought this might be a good poll

Just one. Phenebarb to prevent seizures. She used to be on about 3 resp. medicines too but not anymore. Been just one medicine for almost a year now. Oh wait I forgot she gets a flintstone vitamin to does that count?

Angus used to get captopril, omeprazole, domperidone, frusemide and spironolactone. I used to think I would go nuts when he needed an antibiotic as well, along with the fact that he needed tube feeds every 3 hours, but things have settled down considerably to captopril 3 times a day and feeds 4 times a day. Easypeasy!

Lots of love,

Kate

Okay here goes.
1. Keppra twice daily
2. Dilantin twice daily
3. Phenobarbital once daily
4. Robinul at least twice daily (more if needed)
5. Miralax once daily
6. Pulmocort twice daily
7. Albuterol twice daily
8. Calcium once daily
9. Rhinocort once daily
10. Acetosol once daily
Plus feeding five times daily? How would you like to keep all of this straight. It is challenging at times.

When we came home from the hospital, Brian was on 20 different meds. It was unbelievable. We are down to 4.

Singulair Q 24
Zyrtec Q 24
xopenex Q 4-6
Pulmocort Q 12

So much easier to handle now.

Jack is finally back to everything PRN - which means no meds unless sick. His new pulmonologist wants us to give maintenance pulmicort/xopenex. But, I choose not to

Edit: I lied - I forgot that Jack gets Fosamax 1x per week.
