Has anyone used Nutren Jr. ? It is a formula like Pediasure....our dr wants us to try it with Mitchell but I can't find it ANYWHERE!! I've called almost every store I can think of. He told me that we can get it right in town....but can't find it. I'll have to call him tomorrow and ask him exactly where to get it...just wondering if anyone else has used it.

We use something called Nutrini, don't know if its the same thing, it is a formula and Sam tolerates it pretty well. There is also something called Nutrison, but that is for older kids/adults. We get ours delivered direct to home by the supplier.

We use Nutren Jr w/ fiber and yes, it's just about the same thing as Pediasure. Our supply company delivers it, I don't know if you can buy it in stores, I don't think so.

When one of ours was using that formula we got it at one of the pharmacies in our area. Try calling your DME or one of the local pharmacies.

Good Luck and God Bless You.

Nick was on Nutren Jr for two years after pediasure. We were told it's easier for them to digest (doesn't sit in the stomach as long). It's a little expensive, we got a doctors order for it and ordered it through our medial company our insurance company paid for it. Before we got the script I did order it from our pharmacy or the local grocery store a few times. It's made by Nestle and I believe it can be ordered on-line too.

Hope this helps
Carrie

We used Nutren Jr and bought it from Ebay. Pretty cheap.

Also, when we visited Cinci, the GI team told us about Carnation instant breakfast and how they started making individual packaged instant carnation breakfast drinks in a 4 pack...and since they are the same manufacturer as Nutrin Jr (Nestle/Carnation), it is about the same ingrediants. And WAY cheaper. I'd ask your ped and compare.
