I don't want to upset anyone with this article as it is about a very bad person in a long-term children's hospital. Please be aware that it can be upsetting.
But I wanted to share it because it somehow really hit home and made me so sick reading it. How could someone be so awful and take advantage of these angels who are helpless?

What a nightmare for all those precious angels! Wicked, evil, sick, etc...
What can make someone so warped?
I cannot think of a punishment severe enough (but I have some ideas where they should start)

That is just horrible. I can not understand how people can do this kind of crime to defenseless children.
At my husband's work they have many things like this happening. He works with adults with many different forms of disabilities. I just dont understand. It is scary. I feel for all these children and families that have to go through something so tragic like this.

And we have to defend our children's right to live in a family instead of an institution.... I should carry around a zillion copies of this report and hand one to every person who just doesn't "get" why we take kids out of these places, why we try to have them shut down, why I go around the country training social workers on the adoptability of severely impaired and medically fragile children.
People can be so stupid.

I am thoroughly disgusted. There is no punishment severe enough for something like that...

Disgusting.
My heart goes out to the parents of those children.
It's things like this that remind me how "small" my problems really are.
I wish we could do something to comfort them.
