So I was waling down the hallway at Adison Rehab, And the head of RT said Hi Mrs Hinch (wich makes me laugh)
HE said did you get the message about Adison? I said no why? Well she decnnulated herslef this morning and were not sure fo how long. The Rt that was taking care of her heard her vent go off and looked over saw the tube was out of the crib he went over and she was smiling athim. He of course quikly put a new trac in and everything was ok. He said her saturations were at 100 and well she was smiling. So the bad news is she decaned herself but the good news is she tolerated it well.
Then he says to me why does she have the trach again?
I was so excited that her stats were so good trew the whole thing i didn't get upset about the decnaulation.

Good for Adison! It is good to know that you have some time and she maintained her sats well.

Oh boy! That's a rehab thing. They keep the ties on way too loose. I am so glad she handled well. Good to know!

Way to go Adison! (But the mom side of me says to tell her to be careful! )
I was so scared when Vivian did that for the first time, but it turned out ok, it was the first step to total decann!!
