hi all,
We are scheduled for reconstructive surgery and decannualtion on thursday. please give any tips, comments or advice that you have. we don't want to get our hopes up but ..i also want to be prepared. the doctors only say that he will be in the intensive care unit , in a complete coma, and then he will be moved to another unit and will go through drug withdrawl.and it will be about two weeks. but what will it be like for those two weeks?

Mom to Breanna (15), David (12), Christopher and Brian (almost 5). Brian decanned in 2006 and had his g-tube removed in 2007.


B & C are surviving triplets. Brooke survived for 1 month.

The Ltp recovery is hard my little girl really had ithard with withdraws she shook alot and just did not act like she even knew us bacially it is hell but it is worth it in the end. Hang in there good luck!
