I have seen these vest in the hospital setting, and recently a boy I take care of got this vest. It is the most wonderful thing in the world. Do any of you have one?
We have to do CPT on Madisyn 4 times daily and PRN. I would love to get this to help get her secretions up. We fight constantly with mucous plugging with her.
My question to any of you that have one is, do they make them in infant and toddler sizes too? Do you know about how much they run?

We have one and we love it. I don't think they make them in infant size. They cost $15,000!!! Our insurance (UHC) denied it, but my husband's employer is self-funded and they agreed to pay for it despite the fact that UHC said it was not a covered benefit. We were very lucky in that regard. Jack is 7 years old, I could never do manual CPT on him and be effective.

I figured they ran about that much. In fact, I thought they were even more. That is a wonderful piece of equiptment. I am hoping we can get this for Madisyn when she gets a little older. I am going to write the company and ask them about the size of the patient.

Jacob got his Vest when he was about 18 months old. The company *made* him a vest by cutting one down and sewing it. He still uses it when he is sick. He was using it daily, but was having too much trama from the vent vibrating his trach that we had to stop it.
Anyways, it does work very well.
