Yes, its that time of year again! We had to call an ambulance last night to take Sam to hospital as his saturations dropped really low. We had increased him up to 2 litres, but, because we don't have humidification at home (he just has O2 through his HME) we could not safely increase him any more. Thankfully the chest x-ray and bloods came back ok, he has been treated with nebulisers and humidified Oxygen. His temp remains pretty high and he is very lethargic. It is absolutely freezing here at the moment and they put a fan in the room last night to cool him down - I was frozen! I've left Dad with him tonight and come home to get some sleep (he didn't settle into bed until 2.15 am). Incidentally, it is almost 10pm in the UK.

Hope everyone else is doing ok, here's hoping this is just a mild one.

Love Julie
