I'm sorry she couldn't be decannulated. I know all too well how much that hurts to hear.
We have gone in twice for "sure thing" decans and always come home with the trach. Like you said, all in God's time...that's a hard thing to wait for though... Hang in there, momma, It will happen. Erika

I'm sorry that it didn't go as smoothly as you were hoping. I hope it happens in the next 6 weeks. So hard waiting a day longer once our hopes are up!

Mom to Breanna (15), David (12), Christopher and Brian (almost 5). Brian decanned in 2006 and had his g-tube removed in 2007.  B & C are surviving triplets. Brooke survived for 1 month.
