Hi Everyone- I am so thankful for every one of you and all of your prayers. Thank you Susan.

I am so sick to my stomach rihgt now. I have never been so scared in all my life. The story is as Susan said.
Since the trach was sutured to his neck, when the tank tipped over it pulled the trach only half way so I couldn't get it out and place it properly.
He was turning bluer and bluer so I screamed for help. When everyone came in I ran out into the hallway and freaked out. I ended up in the ER b/c I had a massive panic attack.
Before they could register me at the ER my mom showed up with my Xanax stash. Then I was calm and more collected.

They put me in the Ronald McDonald room and I fell asleep for a few hours.
Milo is on a vent, they put in chest tubes b/c of the lungs collasping. They said he only desatted to 40 for a short time so there probably isn't much damage. His chest cavity filled up with air. The doctor called it neurothorax. I didn't look the term up yet so I may have spelled it wrong.

I don't know if any of this makes sense. I have such a pounding headache, I just diodn't want anyone to keep worrying.

Love Kerry

Kerry,

Thank you for updating. I'm glad Milo didn't desat for long. Still so scary. Please take it easy and update when you can. We are pulling for Milo. He is one tough cookie, as we all know.

My sweet Kerry~

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Â*I am so sorry I am out of town this weekend, I am so sorry I am not there to give you a hug or sit with you while you cry on my shoulder. Â*I am sick to my stomach that I had to read this on the board and that I am not able to be there with you. Â*I am sitting in Indiana crying and praying with my mom and thinking of my beautiful little boyfriend. Â*I know he is a fighter and I know he will be OK, but I worry about you. Â*This is not fair and it's about damn time your family got a FREAKING break! Â*Honey, I love you and your family please know I will be sending lots of prayers your way. Â*I will be back in NJ on Sunday, I will be at the hospital as soon as my flight lands. Â*Please, please call me if you need anything!

Guess it's a good thing I didn't take your Xanax!!! Â* Â*

Give Milo lots of love, hugs and kisses from me and Nick.

Love you
Carrie
