Hi All I have been reading all the posts about the second opiions everyone has been going too...and they all seem that Dr Cotton is the "man".
Well Skyler is going to be 3 here in August, we were told "one more year"...again in Feb. Not because his Pierre Robin, (small chin/jaw) but because he has tracheolmalasia...is this something that "just appears"!? Because if I remember right, he didnt have this as an infant....hmm.....
Well I would love to go and visit mr dr cotton...just ot check him out, get a second thought on skylers conditions....ya know.. But we are in WASHINGTON...like my insurance would pay for that....any one know of any other GREAT ENTs??
We already see the Ents at Childrens in Seattle...which i am happy with, but two heads are better than one Just curious...thanks guys tlak to you soon.

You'll never know if you don't try. Â*You may be surprised what insurance will cover if you fight for it. Â*Based on everything I've heard on this board the last few years, and having met Dr. Cotton myself at the conference last summer, it's worth everything it takes to get to see "the Man" if you feel your current medical team isn't getting you where you want to be.
Go for it and good luck.

Double check with insurance and I bet some of it could be covered. Plus, travel expenses can be deductible to Cinci (lodging, transp, etc) if you itemize.

You may also get local charities/organizations involved or perhaps a friend could help start a campaign to raise funds (via Paypal) for you all to go. We had a wonderful friend who sent an email out and funds were raised for us to help with expenses in Cinci for Marisa's LTP.

When there is a will, there is a way.
