I have a friend whose son suffered a spinal chord injury at 4 mos old and now has some significant nerve damage which affects his right side. Not sure about the outcome for your situation...but she is using some of the e-stim on her son and has seen some improvement in nerve function on the right side. It does take some time...nothing overnight. Does anything ever happen quickly?

I know they've been doing the e-stim treatments for less than a year, but she does seem to be very pleased, as are his docs and therapists.

Good luck.

We have been using e stim on Jnathan for the past year. His condition is simular to a spinal cord injury. I believe it has help him with his shoulder muscles and we starting to get movement in his upper arm muscles. I think it does work better for the peripheral nerve damage which would be the face, than the spinal nerve damage.

Jennie can I ask what type of injury your freinds son had? My sone was 6 months old? How is he doing?

Thank you for the reply Jennie. I am so sorry to hear what a struggle your friend and son have gone through. It just sounded so similar to my son, I had to ask. I am glad to hear that he is moving around and he is learning to use what he can. He sounds like a very strong little guy. Please wish her all the best for me...
Take care
Bonnie
