I just received a phone call from my Apria representative and was informed that Pulmonetics has issued a nationwide recall on the LTV ventilator (did not specify a specific model). My daughter uses the LTV 950 and both her vents are affected by this recall. A letter is being sent out to all affected, but if you don’t want to wait, you can call Pulmonetics or your DME to see if your vent is affected.

The problem is only with the use of external batteries and car adapters. The ventilator is having problems switching over from internal battery or AC power to external power sources (such as external batteries and car adapters). The vent will start flashing “Inop” and will not ventilate properly.

If I find out any additional information, I will let you know.
