Hi

We talked to our pulmonologist today and she said we needed to stop the trach collar trials since Alex is having respiratory distress symptoms. She said we can also have the ENT put back in the 4.5 Bovina. I also spoke w/ the GI nurse and she said they want to do an endoscopy and bronch on Alex at the same time. So, we will have the ENT put back in the 4.5 during this time. I would rather upsize the trach vs stopping the trials. Alex had done well prior to our downsizing on Saturday. Aidan will get a bronch and endoscopy too (hopefully the same day).

Aidan's gastric emptying study came back normal and Alex's upper GI showed some reflux. The doc said he is worried about the Nissen (duh). Oh well...

I hope that everything goes well with the bronch and endoscopy for the twins. I'm sorry that you had to stop the trach mask trials. Hopefully upsizing again will do the trick.
