Poet and advocate Mattie Stepanek died on Tue. at the age of 13. Â*I have seen this little boy on Oprah and started to read some of his poems. Â*What an amazing little boy and a wonderful inspiration to us all. Â*I have attached the link Â*to his website. Â*If you get a chance check out this site it is a story that will touch your heart.

I couldn't sleep last night so turned on CNN-heard the sad news about Mattie. That little guy was such an amazing boy. I have his books-they are wonderful. I then proceeded to sob this morning when GMA did a tribute piece to him. Make sure you check out the link that Carrie provided.

Oh no I actually just bought 2 of Mattie Stepanek's books a few months back. I heard about him on this board, I believe. How sad...

That is so sad. I have seen him many times on tv and thought what an inspiration he was to everyone around him.
