Mommy to Ashton. Former 24 weeker, now 5 years old! Ashton has severe cerebral palsy, severe reflux, g tube fed, legally blind, cochlear implant for hearing, undiagnosed cyanotic episodes and tracheostomy which was done in Dec 2009. The love of my life! Also mommy to an angel, Hunter who came way too soon on March 28th 2009 at 18weeks and 4 days.

That's so great!!! She was certainly not up for the adoring crowd. But at least she has the video to see one day when this is all forgotten. Just wonderful!

Ahh, she's looks like she doesn't know what to think. I hope she gets used to the idea real quick. Thanks for posting this! It's great to have videos for reference. I find it very helpful!

SUSAN - Mom to Ainsley (age 6 - DOB 10/18/06) + Evie (age 12) and Adrian (age 9). Adorable and Trached since 11/06 (scarred vocal cords & OSA) but capping with mixed success since 1/09, sagittal craniosynostosis (cranial reconstructions 1/07 & 7/07), MicKey G-tube 06/07, Nissen 10/08, unusual form of cerebellar hypoplasia, hip dysplasia (Surgery 11/07 & 4/10), ptosis(post-surgery).

I thought it would be good to post. Here I was thinking she wouldn't have a problem with it and she seemed generally nervous and/or missing the trach! I'm not too sure how to make it less scary considering there were so many strangers in the room...

[center]Stephanie, momma to Rylan & Dakota 31-wk twin girls (11.14.09), Rylan - colostomy (11.18.09), trach for SGS Grade III, tracheomalacia (1.08.10), had 2 masses removed from her airway (9/1/11 & 10/14/11), g-tube fed , VACTERL syndrome. Dakota - no strings or tubes!

She is such a cutie, she seems much less aware that the trach is gone, than she is about the roomful of strangers staring at her!!
