We have both E-tanks (for travel) and an oxygen concentrator. We only use O2 when Jack is sick, which hasn't been for well over a year now (knocking on wood). If I didn't have oxygen at home, Jack would likely need a hospital admit when sick. As you can imagine, I'm hanging on to my oxygen concentrator for dear life!

We have a large tank in the garage (I don't even know what size-it requires a trolley to move it) and a SeQual Eclipse concentrator. Nate rarely needs it but I wouldn't be comfortable not having it.

Eric was on oxygen when he first came home but was weaned off it over a year ago. We keep it for emergencies but haven't used it in quite a while.

Logan came home on .25 ltr nasal cannula, but then he was trached. We d/c'd the big tanks, but we still have the travel size in case of emergency--esp. for after seizures and when he has a lot of secretions.

Our Children's NICU always discharges trached kiddos with at least 1 E-tank. The trach nurse told me that they rather send the kid home with one than not, even though most parents whose kids never use oxygen just toss it in the cloest or garage.
We have a concentrator in Mac's room along with an E-tank on her vent stand (incase the power goes out and she needs O2). We also have a large tank in the garage that's a PIA to move as well as a few more E-tanks. And I typically keep her "go tank" in the van at all times so it makes for a quick rush to the ED if needed.

We weaned Alex off O2 I think when she was about one year. She's 3 and a half now and has probably only used it 3 times since then. We used to have very large liquid tanks that I eventually asked to have removed. We keep an M tank, e tanks and several smaller ones around. I keep a small one in the car, we've left one at school and we keep one on the vent stand with an ambuu attached in case of emergency. She usually doesn't need the O2 even when sick, but every once in a rare while, some weird thing happens and she needs it and it keeps me from having to run her to the ER.

We have the concentrator right now, and a tank for backup emergencies. But not sure what we'll have when we come home now. She wasn't trached before, just sleep apnea, so we'll see.

Celia has been on and off her whole life,,why,,I dunno. Came home on 02 during sleep until about 2years old,,then we only used it during illness from 2-5 years old. Went through another phase of needing it around 5years old until about 7,, then only needed it during illness until about 9.5 or 10 years old and now is back on it during sleep! We have tanks for backup for the concentrator. NEVER would go with out it!!
