Exclamation We have a date for surgery

I just received an email from the Jeune's Clinic at Nationwide Childrens Hosp--Chest expansion surgery is set for November 6. We will go up and be admitted on Nov 3(The day of Josephs 3rd birthday ) and will have all final tests done as an inpatient so they can get everything coordinated and results back STAT. This has been such a long road to get to, and now that we have a definite date for surgery, I'm beginning to get a little freaked out. I am still having trouble with the insurance aspect of it all, but hopefully by November it will be worked out.

You've got plenty of time to work it out. And I bet if you ask the coordinator at the hospital, they can help get the insurance worked out too - the social worker we worked with in the NICU pointed out that hospitals prefer to get paid for their work, rather than spending money taking you to collections, or writing the cost off as uncollectable

Wow Lynn! How weird that we should get the same news on the same day! I couldn't be happier for you. I've been waiting for this so long I'm not even nervous (yet). I just want this so badly.

This is great! Let's hope that 2010 is the year our boys can lose the vent. I daren't even think as far ahead as Angus becoming a nose-breather.

Woohoo!!
