oh man.......I'm already praying that Eric doesn't get it! The only suggestion I have is sanitize the entire house....and I'm pretty sure you've already done that....

My only tip is just keep en eye out for symptoms but try not to stress too much, you will need your strength IF he gets sick. Ella was exposed when she was little, then she exposed Emma and neither of them got it. So its not a given that they will get sick, maybe you will be some of the lucky ones like we were.

I do agree though, clean everything better safe than sorry. It might not help, but you don't know unless you do it.

I'd wash everything-even doorknobs and then just pray. Hopefully he wont get it.

Was your nephew showing any signs of being sick when your SIL came over? I'd be very upset if he was and she still brought him over.

Like others have said, I'd sanitize the whole house. Steam cleaners are great and can really work wonders. I don't think there's a set time for RSV to show it's ugly little head. I think it's just like cold symptoms - there's really no predicting. Just practice great hand washing and hope you get all the germies away. I do believe one of our RNs said the virus can live up to 48 hours on any surface?

he seemed fine to me. She said he started throwing up this morning (not normal baby spitting up but actually throwing up) and coughing so the dr ran a test and it came back positive
