Default DME and insurance...

I have been getting a boat load of EOB's where the DME didn't bill insurance in a timely manner (the 1 year limit) and so my insurance has rejected the claims. Can the DME come to us next?? Just curious if anyone knows...
thanks!

No, you are not responsible for charges that aren't paid because the provider didn't timely bill your insurance company.

Thanks Ann... that was my first thought, however, then I have had second thoughts wondering if they could.
