Capping again
Tommy had to go back on oxygen again this morning, but we were able to wean him early this afternoon and at 1pm, we got the cap back on him. So far, so good. He's currently sleeping and I guess we will see how he does for the next couple of days.
New med added to his arsenal--Pulmozyme.

We had to uncap him during his nap and put a trach collar on him with room air. He woke up retracting and gasping through his mouth. His sats stayed good, and RT thinks he just got a little secretions stuck around the trach and couldn't breathe up and around them.
