Claudia - Mom to Sienna (4-22-07) and Sammy (12-14-2008).
Sienna was trached 9-27-07 for vocal cord paralysis. Right cord now moving.
Decannulated on 7-16-2008!

Nathan is 7! Trached at 2 hours old--laryngeal atresia. Double stage LTP 5/26/06, double stage LTP 1/23/09 and single stage LTP 4/21/09. Airway has restenosed, but we're still trach free 9/2012. Ding dong, the trach is gone!!

OKAY, now I am REALLY crying at my desk!

I LOVE IT!!!! He kind of reacted how my daughter did-----like, "what the heck, where did my necklace go???"

It all happens so fast!

I am sooooo happy for you guys!!!!!

I will keep him in my prayers that he holds strong and keeps out the trache!!!

All i can say WOW, Thats what Kaylie said when she watched the video !!! WOW.. I was a little nervous to let her watch because i thought she might get some ideas herself, like Tommy did the night before.. but she was Happy for him... as we all are...keep us updated when you can.. again i cant believe it..

That's awesome! You were right he was a bit upset to see the drs come in, poor kiddo. He looks so good though, and I love how he felt his neck and got that kind of cute look like 'where did my trach go?" what a cutie. Congrats and I hope all continues to go well for him

Oh wow! Its really emotional to watch, brave Tommy and brave you! With regards to lab coats and blue scrubs, the docs only have to come in the door without even laying a hand on K and he wails! Wishing you all continued strength for a trach-free Tommy
