Yes it can. It is one of the side affects listed.

Rene, Mom to my Angel, Tommy. Born 9/25/06 at 33 weeks, with Single Ventricle Heart Defects and Cricopharyngeal Achalasia (Gtube dependant, poor swallow). Trached at 2 months for Severe Subglottic Stenosis. My little flirt died unexpectly 8/20/08 from complications from undiagnosed bronchopneumonia.

Really? I had no idea. Kate's been on it 16mos and hasn't had this problem.

Myles has been on it for 9 months and hasn't had diarrhea. Right now he has the opposite problem.

I wouldn't doubt it b/c Zantac made Ayden SOOO constipated and that was when he was still on 100% baby formula!
It hasn't been an issue w/ Ayden, but every kid is different. I remember reading on the P2P reflux board that it has caused other kids to have diarrhea.
If it's not one thing, it's another for our kids!

Yes it can. Not constantly but occasionally as Rene pointed it out so well it is part of the side effects

thanks, I guess I was aware that it is on the list of side effects. But just wondering how many kids actually experience this....
what else works well but maybe without that side effect??
