Default Missouri ??!!

Can anyone who lives in Missouri and who gets skilled nursing hours through medicaid tell me how many hours they are entitled to? We have family in MO and I was wondering if obtaining home nursing care was easier than Fl.

I live in MO but all my hours are through my private insurance. I can tell you though, with MO Medicaid, if you have a trach and and vent the max number of hours you will get is 16 hours a day, which is okay. It wouldn't have worked so well for us when our son was little, but it's not bad.

Based on your previous posts, I'm assuming you want to know how many hours (or how much $$$) you would get under the wavier program, correct? It was my understanding when I lived in Missouri that under the waiver program you get so much money, not a certain number of hours. However, I'm not positive, but I do know someone who gets monies under the waiver program for her son who has a trach (no vent). I'll check with her and see if I can get you an answer.
