Lily's trip to the ER

My daughters situation is a bit different, as Shealees' stenosis is far down her trach just above the corina, but we have had major granulation issues to deal with.It forms below her trach and up till a year ago all they could do was dilate the area and push back the tissue, it kept forming as her trach scrapes against the side of the trachea.Once she got big enough for laser they would do that,it still forms but not quite as badly.Her pediatrician put her on steroids to slow down the granulation(this is what I was told) unsure of exact reasoning,sorry,and she goes for a bronch every 3 months.As I said she has a different trach problem but the granulation issue I've dealt with.She is still in Hospital but will be coming home soon, and her doctor says she will be back for a bronch every 3mths.This probally didn't help but I thought I'd let you know

I'm so sorry for what you had to go through. It's so scary. I can totally understand as we went through that also this week. I too hope you were able to get some sleep after things calmed down. take care

That sounds awful scary. I know, I've been there. the big question is always..when will it happen again and we WON'T be so lucky. Thank God everything is okay. Skip the Motrin, drink some wine coolers!
