Default We have a date with Dr. Cotton

When we were in Cincinnati in October, Dr. Cotton and Dr. Wood said that they felt that it was time to look at making a small opening in Tommy's trachea to see if we can get him to vocalize. The intent is to give him a little safer airway and the possibility to move air and not to get rid of the trach at this time. Well, today we got the letter and they have the OR booked for January 24th. Seeing it in writing brought on mixed emotions. Please keep Tommy in your prayers.
