Jacob is on 5cc of inhaled Toby via updraft twice per day for one month. It is taking 45 min or so to go in, and then there are 1 1/2 to 2cc left. The equiptment company has tried switching me to a more powerful compresser, I'm cleaning the neb after every use, but it's still taking too long. Any suggestions?

Jacob had a nebulizer once that was extremely slow, so I resorted to using our 50psi compressor. I had to keep it under 15 psi or it would blow the tubing off, but it worked very well until he got a new neb machine. I hope this helps you, that is, if you have a 50psi compressor.

Is it supposed to have saline added? During our last hospital stay Alli had a neb (dont remember name) that the resp therapist added a vial of saline to because the medicine was "too heavy" to nebulize quickly by itself. Just a thought...Deb
