Default MRI/CT scan tomorrow

Sam is going to the hospital tomorrow to be scanned. He is having an MRI of his spinal cord (this is to check for tethered cord which is common in children with his condition). He is also having a CT scan of his chest (this is to confirm what has caused his chronic lung condition). He is being given a general anaesthetic - because he has such a 'unique' airway they do not feel sedation is safe. As long as everything goes ok we expect to be home tomorrow night. Wish us luck (and no spinal problems!)

Love Julie

Julie,

Many thoughts and prayers that you get some answers and good news on the potential spinal issues. I hope you are indeed able to come home tomorrow night!
