Jack went back to theatre last night, they couldnt find where the bleeding came from- they corterised the wound, and it has stopped bleeding and he looks like a new boy... We can finally see the trachy.
He is a little anaemic as he lost some blood and he may have to have some blood given to him, we will find out tomorrow.

I will have to put him up on the site soon..

Jess,

Hopefully this will completely take care of it. I know that it is so difficult to see him lying there with all this going on. I remember when Gaithy had her surgery - vividly of course. I hate for her to be sedated for long periods - I miss her personality terribly when I'm not able to see it for awhile! Hopefully things will clear up soon now and you'll be coming home. What is the next plan of action?

christy

Just wanted you to know, once again, that I am thinking of you. I have been telling Jacob about his friend, so he is thinking of you also I hope that one day they will get to meet one another. (Same for you and me!). I am glad they got the bleeding to stop. Now you can work towards getting him home where he belongs. Take care.

sounds great!!! Keep that in mind next time they bronch him because if they "poke" him accidently, he may have bleeding problems again, so make sure it's addressed. perhaps he can have Vitamin K prior to each bronch?? Just a thought.
