Default Update on James

Things are going well so far.. he flew through the surgery with no surprises.. they placed the rib graft at the" old trach" site and closed the stoma.. He has been on and off awake.. overall I would say he is in OK spirits.. he can communicate by writting and is asking to take all the tubes out.. All in all he looks great, peaceful and resting comfortably,considereing all he has been through,The plan is to head back to the OR tomorrow YEH!!!!!!please continue to send prayers and great thoughts our way..they help beyond belief.. Thanks for all the supprort and prayers from people who TRULY know where I am coming from.. May Gos bless all of you in your time of need!!!!!!!!!!!!!

24 weeker now almost 11 years old and in third grade!
trach-decanned for good in 2008, gtube, asthma, CP, MR, GERD, latex allergy, osteopenia, aplastic cerebellum, ADHD/OCD, 60 lbs of humor and fiest, 4'4" tall, patient at Shreveport Shriners Childrens Hospital,, and I may be leaving something out but she is happy and growing and the light of our lives! DECANNED 6-17-08
