Default Synagis Shot Issues

So it's a new nurse who comes to administer what we hope will be his last shot, at least for this season. We get him all pumped up, no more owies etc.
Our primary nurse kept telling her how much he weighs and what the dose should be (she has been here for every shot).
So when the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (yeah) comes in with only one syringe our nurse says, we usually give it in two. Miss New to my household says well there isn't anything contradictive to giving it in one dose.
After FOUR fricking sticks she gets in the shot.
Our nurse lovies on Chase and takes him to the mall right away to fix his mental shock. when she returns she sees an unopened bottle of Synagis sitting on the kitchen counter.
Yeah, the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING gave him only 1/2 of his dose.
Then she had the balls to ask to come back that p.m to give him the other dose. Our nurse advised her not to speak to mom, that it would be best to let me think about it.
What would you do?

Well, if it's been on the counter more than one hour it's spoiled, isnt it? I guess if they are going to replace the dose at no charge I'd let them, otherwise forget it. It is late in the season and all anyway. Sorry he had such a bad experience getting sticked. Doesnt synagis just go into the thigh muscle? Deb

It is later in the season.... so I don't know if a 1/2 dose would just help for 2 weeks or how that works. I would call the pediatrician to ask about the spoilage issue. Ayden actually takes his shots pretty well, so getting another wouldn't be a problem for us. I would also call the company - like the director of nursing and let them know what happened and especially if the rest is spoiled or if it isn't going to be used. When I got fed up w/ the run around our agency was giving us, I actually called the owner of our agency since one of our nurses knows him VERY well b/c she was one of the first nurses he hired when he started the company.
good luck.
