Father (and mother) to Tommy, born via an emergency EXIT to Trache 8/1/06. Diagnosed with Congenital High Airway Obstruction Syndrome (CHAOS). VACTERRS Syndrome. Vocal cords completely fused until Double Staged LTP 03-03-08, refused shortly after stent was removed. Second Double Stage LTP 1-20-09.

OMG, he looks sooooo wonderful!!!!! He's at Children's now I see!!! Gotta love the fishies!!! We have Chicago appts on Feb. 28 and March 12 Maybe we can scoot over and see you guys!!! I'd love to meet you!!!

YAY! Oh my God, I watched that and remembered the day Milan finally got to go out of the well-guarded doors of the NICU, and I was in tears all over again! YAY TOMMY! Go for the DOOR! GO FOR THE DOOOOOORRRRRRR!!!!

Kris,

No offense, but I REALLY hope that you cannot scoot on over to see us, as I hope that we will be at home by then. If we are in the hospital, certainly, that would be great (but remember, we have the dreaded MRSA flag). Also, if we are out, depending upon the chaos, you would be welcome to visit us at home, but think it might be out of the way depending upon what route you take.

A great video! It had me in tears! He looks fantastic--such a strong boy pulling at his toys!!! I hope he is home soon.

Nathan is 7! Trached at 2 hours old--laryngeal atresia. Double stage LTP 5/26/06, double stage LTP 1/23/09 and single stage LTP 4/21/09. Airway has restenosed, but we're still trach free 9/2012. Ding dong, the trach is gone!!
