I feel like this all of the time. I think that Harrison's doctors see a kid who is doing much better than they ever expected and so they aren't very concerned with solving his current, "minor" issues. But the current issues are a big deal to me and to his quality of life. Frustrating.

I so agree with this. We have doctors who felt like our LO would never make it out of the NICU and when he was released felt he should not be. They said he would never improve with his heart or airway and he has improved with his heart and his airway. So now they now see him doing so much better that we have a hard time getting them to look at the minor stuff. I feel like doctors don't know how to talk with parents, so they either leave stuff out or say something really stupid. I imagine it is a tough job being a ped doctor though. So I guess I shouldn't be too hard on them.
