My son Will just got larger shoes for his AFOs. The old shoes are size 11W, and we bought them from the orthotist so they will fit over the AFOs. If someone needs them or wants just to try them for over AFOs, let me know and I'll send them along.
Will is not weight bearing, except for the stander 5 hours or so a week. So, they do not have wear spots from normal walking movements that other kids create. The shoes are used, but wearable to someone. I will send a photo if someone is interested. I recall a thread about this a few weeks back, and it just happened that Will was getting new shoes, so these are available. - betty
