Christy,
We live in Arizona, so we've been through a hot summer with a trach. The HME was fine for going out. The biggest problem we ran into, was the house drying out from running our air conditioner. We ended up putting humidifiers all over the house, as well as trying to keep Sara's mist collar on as much as possible. This won't be quite as easy this year, now that she runs all over the place. Hope this helps!
