Hi everyone! I have been asked by a friend to help them find a nursing facility for their 91 year old grandfather who is on a vent. They need a place in Houston. They haven't been able to find anything except a place in San Antonio and that's too far from them. Anyone know anything about this? Just thought I'd ask. The family is pretty desperate.

What about contacting Baylor or Methodist Hospital Respiratory departments - perhaps they can suggest Houston are Nursing care facilities that accept vent patients. Or check the Houston area Nursing Home listings on the net.

Good luck your family.
