If this wasn't so frustrating, it would be laughable...
Nate had a bronch done last fall, just like every year. I had gotten a bill from the hospital with a balance due. Since it's always been covered, we called to check it out and they said medicaid had denied it. So my husband called medicaid to inquire. Unfortunately neither he nor I are able to discuss claims as "Nathaniel is the head of his medicaid coverage and without a signed release, we are unable to speak to you about any claims." ha!!! So we have a call in to the local SRS caseworker. I want to ask them why I'm the one who fills out the 20 page renewal form every year, but can't ask a darn question about my son's coverage. Stupid government agencies (no offense to anyone who works for the government!!!
