Default Since the LTP he started eating by mouth!!!!

Before the LTP Ayden would only eat a lil bit of dry ceral by mouth & now hes been trying everything & I know he can taste better now because he used to eat cheerios & now he only wants the sugary ceral! Two days ago he ate a whole chicken nugget!& last night he ate two whole nuggets!Im very excited, but a bit nervous of choking too,but I know I have to let him eat whenever he asks.Im so proud of him!I wonder if having no trach makes it easier now?,Hmmmmm>>>>>>Angie

Tommy has started liking food since his LTP too! Maybe it has to do with being able to finally taste. That's awesome that he's eating chicken nuggets!

I'm so relieved and happy that Ayden is taking to eating now! Definitely gives me hope for the future with Angus. Another little boy we know called Aiden was decanned last year, prior to which he ate about the same as Angus does now, i.e not much, but now he'll eat a burger in a bun and stuff like that. Fingers crossed that Ayden keeps up the good work!

Love,

Kate
