Unhappy

So Keturah has been desatting into the 70's even though she is on the vent while she is sleeping. The vent is supposed to prevent her apneas and desats. She is on the LTV800, but they said she needs a more sophisticated vent to help sense when she goes into REM sleep to give her more support. Does anybody have a "smart" vent and know what they are talking about?

Wow! So speak of the devil, the RT just called and said she was going to bring the new vent over tonight. The pulmonologist told me it would take a week to get the new vent. They're good! So she is going to be on the LTV950. I guess I never knew that some vents were "smarter" than others.
