I'm just wondering, has anyone here been decanulated, ltp, etc. from the childrens hospital in Philadelphia....We now go to Dr. Karen Zur, and I was wondering if anyone had their surgery performed in Philly...Thank you,
Lisa and Joe
I just wanted to bump this up. I know someone here had an LTP done by Dr. Zur. I forget who?
Kerry, mom to identical twins, Elijah & Milo, both trach dudes, 26-weekers as a result of Twin To Twin Transfusion Syndrome (2002).
Daughter, Maisie ('05) & Henry ('08). *BOTH decanned after LTP w/rib graft 4/10 & 7/10!* wooo hooooo! The Birthday Boys by TwinTransfusion, on Flickr
We go to CHOP, Nick did not have to have a LTP but he was trached and decannulated by Dr. Wetmore (deals with cardiac kids) and seen by Dr. Jacobs many times, they are great! Â*I know Dr. Zur is part of the airway clinic, I have heard very good things about her and her bedside manor.
Our little miracle, Nicholas Scott born 08/09/02; CHARGE Syndrome, bilateral cleft lip/palate, congenital heart disease, trach and g-tube, hearing aids. Decanulated!
