Just wanted to say a big THANKS to everyone who encouraged me to take Julianna to the beach. We had such a great time with her and we actually relaxed on the beach! She dug in the sand, made a sandcastle with her daddy and chased sea gulls, looking back at us and waving as she ran after them. I never thought it could have been possible to take her to the beach with a trach, but thanks to all of your stories, we took some precautions and we are SO GLAD we went. It was a wonderful first family vacation!

No costly therapy in the world can compare to seeing your child running and having fun...Sounds like you got your money's worth and then some on the vacation. You'll have to go again soon before winter sets in!

Absolutely wonderful. I got goosebumps, because I could tell how much that experience meant to you. I hope that there will be many more trips to the beach.
