Will was born at 24 weeks on the nose on May 4, 2005 due to maternal HELLP syndrome. They had to take him by emergency c-section to save both of our lives. Will was a whopping 1lb6oz and 12in long. He spent 6 months in the NICU, three hours from home, and finally came home on October 15, 2005. He has been diagnosed with BPD, ROP, IVH grade I, GERD, had a trach put in on his original due date, and a Gtube two months later. He got his trach out after an LTP surgery by Dr Cotton in Cincinnati on January 25, 2007. Thus, we are not real sure about this "trach free" business just yet. He is quite the talker and is the true joy of our lives. He has fortunately hit all of the developmental milestones thus far, and is hard to keep up with sometimes, he is always on the go. We live in southern Oklahoma.
