View Full Version : Trach conference
I just wanted to let you all know that I received word today from Smith Medical (makers of Bivona trachs) that they will pay the costs to get a great speaker to come to the conference - Don Meyer. Â*Don Meyer is internationally known for his "Sib-Shop" workshops which seek to increase peer support and information opportunities for siblings of people with special needs and to increase parents' and providers' understanding of sibling issues.
I'm so jazzed that Smiths Medical is doing this for us. Huge kudos to this company. We are very lucky to get someone like Don Meyer to come speak. Â*Here is a link to information about Don Meyer and his Sib-Shops:

Great news Ann. I was invited to attend a lecture held by Don in May. He is going to be a speaker for the St. Louis Special Education Foundation. I am very excited since I have heard many wonderful things about him.
