View Full Version : Ear tubes/bronch results

Well Alex's ear infections WOULD NOT go away. Today, he had ear tubes placed and a follow up Bronch (first since decannulation). Alex did WONDERFULLY. They were able to fit a 5.0 ET tube (normal is 4.5). SOO, his airway is doing wonderfully. He has minimal scar tissue around his stoma, but it should not be a problem. So, I finally am relaxing and accepting our trach may really be gone for good. I now anything's possible, but I am happy to know his airway looks soo good...

Awesome news Whitney. Once Hannah's tubes were placed, no more infections (until one fell out and we had them put back in). Here's to a healthy rest of the summer!

Oh Whitney - that's wonderful and exciting! Can't wait till we're there but I am so happy for Alex (and for all of you). He has come a LONG way!
