About the other post: It is interesting that Kaylie also went in for a T&A and came out with just an adenoid removal. I don't recall if Kaylie has low muscle tone but I think that their experience just shows an increased risk for nasal sounding speech if the full adenoids are removed in kids with hypotonia. But I don't think that means that it will happen for sure. But since they don't know which kids will have that result they try to be cautious. So I'm glad Kaylie didn't have that as a result of her adenoid removal!
